Insane price for "flat" in Chelsea - YIKES!

'Table-sized flat' for £170,000
A flat roughly the size of a snooker table has gone on sale for £170,000 in London's upmarket Chelsea.

WOW that's insane!! 11x7--does it include one of theose beds that flops down outta the wall??!? I guess if you want to have your own private pee-pee spot it'll be worth it to some!!!! HA!

I read about this in the NYTimes. The article said that the flat doesn't even have electricity & will cost thousands more than the purchase price to make it habitable! And I thought we had things bad here...

Yes. It is insane. Of course, it should be noted that prices are particularly looney in Chelsea. Plus, I'm guessing that the novelty of purchasing such a tiny place is inflating the price. Someone out there is thinking, "Buying this useless property for entirely too much money is a great way to show off just how wealthy I am!"
