Surf complex planned near docks
A surfing centre is being planned as part of a £1.5bn development in east London, near to the Olympic Park site.

The main surf pool will generate clean 100m-long (33ft) waves measuring anything up to 1.8m (6ft) all year round, said designers.

3-in-1 Oyster card to be launched
A card combining an Oyster travelcard with credit and cashless payment facilities is being launched.

Tube users warned of more misery
Tube services are expected to return to normal on Thursday but commuters have been warned of further strike misery.

First outing for faster Eurostar
Eurostar is set to make its inaugural journey from Paris to London via a new 186mph (300km/h) high-speed UK line.
