Harman Compares South London to "Meat Factory"

That seems like a bad call for her to make. Did the police insist? It sends out all of the wrong signals to locals!

PM John Howard rather famously wore a bullet proof vest while address an angry rally of gun owners here in Australia in 1996. I don't think that it helped the mood of the protesters!

She probably did just put it on when handed to her but she comes across as (just another politican who is) completely oblivious to the daily life of most people.
