London 'costliest' for film-goers
Cinema-goers in London pay up to three times more for movie tickets than film-buffs in other European capital cities, new research has revealed.

"It is however, rubbish. Comparing the most expensive cinema in London against the average ticket price in Europe is bound to throw up this sort of result. The average ticket price in London is not £17.50 and added to this, here in London we tend to earn quite a lot more than those in Athens or Lisbon."
Good points, yes. Still ain't cheap.
I imagine rates, rents and staffing costs are all much higher in London, but it doesn't detract from the fact that a couple can spend £30 going to see a film in central London.
And if you're a family of four you've had it!
