Routemasters used to serve the number 73 route I used all the time during my days living in London. I had a few hairy moments jumping on and off when the bus was travelling faster than I expected, but it was all part of the fun of using them. Nothing about the new buses compares to the feeling of gripping on to the pole as you get on for dear life as the bus accelerates away!
