this is sad.
my daughter and her theatre group are coming to london in april (rebel shakespeare company) and they were so excited about their time they'd be hitting camden.

last night we had an organizational meeting and half the kids were unaware the fire had happened. many hearts were broken.

your website has the best collection of news and info. what a great site.

i'll share it with the group as a resource.

The (hopefully temporary) loss if Camden Market is indeed a real shame. However, please note that there are other incredible markets and a multitude of attractions in this phenomenal city. You're sure to still have a fantastic time! I suggest that you continue checking back to this blog as well as londonist.com for more ideas and inspiration for your trip!

I'm so glad that you found this post to be a valuable resource and that you like my site! It's always nice to read some positive feedback.

Feel free to drop a line about your daughter's theatre group's performance.

Thank you,
Chris

According to a recent BBC report:

"Londoners should continue to visit the area and support the market. Visit London will also be getting the message out around the world that Camden is still going strong and welcoming visitors."
